Tarea: Conjuguemos Chapter 7B vocabulary practice conjuguemos. You need to complete 400 attempts by Friday of this week! You have several days to complete the 400 so do a little each night! I would recommend 100 each night!

Usted and ustedes commands (p. 382)
• Use the usted command form to tell someone older than you what to do or what
not to do. Use the ustedes form to tell a group of people what to do or what not
to do.
• Affirmative and negative usted and ustedes commands have the same spelling
changes and irregular forms as negative tú commands.
• The commands for viajar (to travel), comer (to eat), and servir (to serve) are
shown below.

Usted and ustedes commands ¿Recuerdas? You already know how to give negative tú commands. • No prepares los frijoles todavía. • No enciendas la fogata. • No salgas de este sendero. To give an affirmative or negative command in the Ud. or Uds. form, use the present-tense yo form as the stem just as you did for negative tú commands. • Add -e or -en for -ar verbs. cortar corto Señor, corte las chuletas de cerdo. probar pruebo Señores, prueben la carne asada. Affirmative and negative Ud. and Uds. commands have the same spelling changes and irregular forms as negative tú commands. The same rules you know for tú commands regarding pronouns apply to Ud. and Uds. commands as well. Attach pronouns to affirmative commands. —¿Dónde ponemos la leña? —Pónganla en un lugar seco. With negative commands, pronouns go right before the verb.
