Spanish 3 11-9-09 Purple Monday all Spanish 3 classes

Today in class 11-9-09 These notes need to go in to your interactive notebooks for 11-9-09! remember that you need to do personal output for this day! Don't forget to get ideas from page 2 of the page that you pasted into your notebook!



Other reflexive verbs use reflexive pronouns and verb forms but do not have the meaning of a person doing an action to or for himself or herself. These reflexive verbs often describe a change in mental, emotional, or physical state, and can express the idea that someone “gets” or “becomes.

Examples of these verbs are:

aburrirse to get bored
enojarse to become angry
casarse to get married
ponerse
(furioso, -a; alegre; . . . )
to become
(furious, happy, . . . )
divertirse to have fun
dormirse to fall asleep
volverse loco, -a to go crazy

Se durmieron durante la película.
Se puso alegre después de ganar.
